The Analysis Expert analyses one or more projects by comparing them to a translation memory to calculate the number of segment matches between the projects and the Translation Memory.  A word count report is  created using this Expert. This report can then be used by the project manager and/or translator to create a time line and costing for a translation project.

 Interactive Analysis

 

 Select Interactive Analysis to specify a number of Project TTKs and relevant TMs and to determine how much translation can be leveraged. This report creates an analysis based on the amount of fuzzy translations that can be re-used from a variety of TMs. This report can be used to determine the cost of translating a Project TTK.

 Scheduled Analysis

 

 Select Scheduled Analysis if you want to create several reports simultaneously. By selecting this option, you'll be asked to specify a Job File which will then be dispatched to the Scheduler for processing.

 Project Snapshot

 

 Select Project Snapshot Report to create a report containing a listing of all translation segments in a Project TTK. This report will also contain a summary wordcount analysis.
 
 

note.bmp A TM Analysis report uses fuzzy match technology to determine the maximum amount of translations that can be re-used from a wide range of TM formats. This includes TMX, XLIFF, TMW, SDL TM Server and Project TTK (all versions).
