Open Translation Bundle

 

A Translation bundle is a compressed archive that contains all the files a translator needs to start working on a project. As Translation bundles are compressed they can be conveniently attached to emails or placed on FTP servers. When a translator attempts to open a bundle, it will automatically decompress the files contained in the bundle so they can be translated.

Translators do not need to have a full license of Alchemy CATALYST in order to work on Translation bundles. They use Alchemy CATALYST: Translator/LITE Edition,  which is available as a free download from the Alchemy Software Development main web site.

Working on Translation bundles

  1. Double click the Translation bundle ForCristiano.exe.

  2. Type c:\MyWork when requested to specify a working folder for your translations

  3. Click the Contents tab and select all the files listed in the Translation bundle.

  4. Press Extract to copy these file from a Translation bundle to your working folder c:\MyWork.

  5. As Alchemy CATALYST is already installed on your machine, it will automatically launch and load your Project Your project is where you manage and organize all the files that are to be localised. TTK.

You are now ready to start translating your client files.
