Use the WYSIWYG Editors to edit and translate the content of your projects. Alchemy CATALYST comes with several different WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors. They are automatically selected when your click on an item in your project. For example, if you click on a Help Page, the WYSIWYG editor for online help will be launched. You can choose to work in a non-visual mode in any editor in Alchemy CATALYST. This is referred to as String Mode.

The examples above show a help page in the WYSIWYG HTML editor and a Microsoft .NET dialog box in the WYSIWYG dialog editor.

Many translators may prefer to work in String Mode during the translation phase, whereas localization engineers may prefer to work in WYSIWYG Mode during bug fixing and testing.
