Using Quickfind

QuickFind allows you to search the content of the Workspace using a search criteria. It works in conjunction with the currently selected filter so that it's possible to search for a word or phrase within only Untranslated strings, or perhaps strings that are marked ForReview.

To search for a word or phrase:

To launch QuickFind click the button from the main Project Toolbar.
Enter a word or phrase in the entry box provided and then press [Enter] or to start searching.

The results of QuickFind are stored in the Project Workspace.

To clear the results of QuickFind click on the button. This will restore the Project Workspace to its original content.

QuickFind uses the same options and settings as Find & Replace. To configure QuickFind to use regular expressions or to search both source and target languages, go to Tools | Advanced Find & Replace.
