Alchemy CATALYST now provides a visual solution for the engineering, translation and testing of online help systems. Adobe RoboHelp, ComponentOne Doc-2-Help, or Madcap Flare help systems can now be managed from within the Alchemy project environment. Working directly on the compiled help project or the individual source documents themselves, Alchemy CATALYST is a complete TM solution for this labour intensive and expensive part of the localization process.

• Work in a visual environment: Work in a highly visual and contextually rich translation environment and improve engineering and translator productivity. • Intelligently process inline tags: Inline tags can now be dragged and dropped directly into translations while the advanced Leverage Expert now positions inline tags intelligently during leverage operations. • Store graphical objects in project TMs: Alchemy CATALYST now stores graphical images and screen shots in project TMs. This makes them reusable during project updates and pre-translations cycles. • Build help systems automatically: Alchemy CATALYST now rebuilds compiled help systems on the fly. This avoids the overhead of creating and maintaining a build system for each individual help file. Compile options such as Auto-Indexing, Binary TOC etc. are also stored in the project TM ensuring that anyone in a project team can correctly build a help system without knowledge of the intricacies of the Microsoft help compiler technology.

• Validate the integrity of help systems: Alchemy CATALYST comes with an enhanced Validate Expert that can auto-detect problems in online help content, i.e. if links are removed or broken during the translation process. This ensures that the structure of a help system is safe-guarded during the translation process and reduces the testing and engineering overhead.
