Go Binary with JAVA! Reduce project complexity! |
|
Alchemy CATALYST has extended its support for the JAVA development platform with the addition of .JAR, .WAR, .EAR and .class compiled files. This will fundamentally affect the localization of JAVA applications! Working on compiled files rather than hundreds of individual source files reduces the complexity of managing JAVA localization projects, reducing project cycle times and costs.
Work directly on compiled files: Localize, test and engineer a single compiled binary JAVA file rather than hundreds of individual source files. By working on compiled .JAR and .class files, you will significantly reduce the overhead in managing JAVA localization projects. Alchemy CATALYST now decompiles these binary file formats, presenting the text for translation in organized lists. When the translation is completed, Alchemy CATALYST will then rebuild the .JAR and .class files bypassing the complexity of running your own build.
Use Validate Expert to detect common localization issues: The Validate Expert has been extended to provide additional tests for JAVA binary files. These include placeholder and formatting tests. This ensures that projects run smoothly and efficiently with minimal errors introduced during the translation process.
Handle multilingual JAVA files: Multi-lingual JAVA files can be processed easily with Alchemy CATALYST. Simply insert the file into a project and Alchemy CATALYST will detect language files requiring translations. This automatic detection of translation avoids the time-consuming task of investigating JAVA build environments for possible translatable files.
Develop custom parsers for JAVA applications: Existing JAVA parsers can be extended and updated using ezParse technology so that proprietary file formats included within the compiled JAR and .class files can also be translated.
Similar to working on compiled .NET applications or Win32s applications, this new technology will significantly change the localization process for JAVA applications ensuring that projects take less time to complete and release into foreign markets. Isn't it time you went Binary with JAVA!
