Configuring Components

A component is similar to a Custom Editor but is developed using the Alchemy CATALYST SDK 2.0.

Components are more sophisticated than Custom Editors and are not limited to Win32 resource segments. Components can access a wider footprint of Alchemy CATALYST kernel functionality and need to be activated before they can be used.
