Alchemy CATALYST supports the localization, testing and engineering of Android Packages.  The String Editor is used to translate the content while the Android Visual Viewer may be used to inspect the various screens of the application. This in-context view ensures accurate translations.

Like other binary formats, Android Packages (*.apk files) are parsed by Alchemy CATALYST and the constituent parts identified.  The localizable elements are displayed in the Project Navigator.  By default CATALYST hides those items that are not considered localizable.
