With all locations, a breadcrumb trail is visible at the top of the files & folders view. Use this secondary navigation feature to quickly jump to a folder within the current folder's path. Hovering over any folder name in the breadcrumb highlights it in blue and clicking on it will open that folder. The top folder, or root, is the name of the location.
Apart from the ability to store your projects files on a Cloud storage to access anytime and anywhere, this facility is very useful to share your projects with colleagues and vendors. For example, you may share your .ttk project with a translator. Once saved on the cloud storage, you can share the file entering the relevant email address and copy the object URL to communicate its location.
Write click a folder or file and select Share... to configure the sharing options. Then click the Add user button to add users.
Double click the Email address and Permissions fields to change the value.
Once a file or folder is shared it will appear in the Shared (or Shared with me on Google Drive) folder of the user it is shared with.
To share files with Dropbox you must first share a folder which the sharing user has to "Add to Dropbox" in their browser. After which the user will see the shared files in CATALYST.
In the example confirmation message below, the folder named "For translation" has been shared with a user.
Select Viewer if you do not wish the user to update the file, or Editor if you want to allow the user to update the file.
Select Reader if you do not wish the user to update the file, or Writer if you want to allow the user to update the file.
Select Read if you do not wish the user to update the file, or Write if you want to allow the user to update the file.
When a file or folder is shared, the last column "Shared" will display Yes.
