What is the Autosized Function?

When Catalyst is unable to access the sizing co-ordinates for a dialog, perhaps because it is sized at run time it will call a function, Autosized.

The Autosized function will determine the size of the dialog that is required to display all of the dialog's controls in Catalyst.

It will automatically size the dialog so that it is larger than the furthest control.

When the application is run however it will be run with the correct co-ordinates from the application, Autosized is for display purposes in Catalyst only.

How can you tell if Autosized has been called?

You will know if Autosized has been called as this will be reported in the Results Window in Catalyst.

Below you can see a screenshot of the report generated in the Results Window when the Autosized function is called.
