Alchemy CATALYST  licenses you activated are tied to the MAC addresses of the computer's hardware. Deactivating the licenses will disable the license on the current PC. It is then possible to activate it again on any computer at any time.

 


  

Run the deactivation wizard

The first step in permanently moving your license is to deactivate your existing Alchemy Catalyst  license.
  
  
Go to FILE > Help > Deactivate Alchemy Catalyst

> All programs > Alchemy Catalyst X.X > Activation > Deactivate Catalyst
  
 

Select the license you wish to deactivate

Select the relevant license you wish to deactivate on your machine from the list provided in the drop down menu.
  
Press Deactivate

Send the deactivation details

After clicking on the Deactivate button, deactivation details will be generated and displayed in your default text editor.
  
Email the contents of the deactivation to info@alchemysoftware.com
  
  
  
  
  
  
A copy of the deactivation details are saved in the Public Folder:
C:\Users\Public\Alchemy Software\DeactivationOutput.txt
 

 
Congratulations, your deactivation is complete!

An Alchemy Software support engineer will respond with a confirmation of your deactivation. You may then activate the license on the new computer.
