You have purchased a license of Alchemy CATALYST Developer/Pro, Localizer or Translator/Pro and now wish to activate your installation of the product.

This process generates a license file on your computer using a certificate file issued by Alchemy Software.

 


 

Request your license certificate file

Run the activation wizard to generate a license certificate request to send to Alchemy Software.
 
 
> All programs > Alchemy Catalyst X.X > Activate Catalyst
 
-or -
 
Launch Catalyst and click Activate Purchased License
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Generate and send your license activation request

 
Select Step 1 and enter the relevant information for your CATALYST Product Edition, Company and Email address
 
Opt to send your license certificate request by clicking the button to either send an Email directly or generate the activation request details to a text file, which you can subsequently email to Alchemy Software at info@alchemysoftware.com.
 
Once the request is sent, an Alchemy Support engineer will send a certificate as soon as possible.
 
 
 
 
 

Activate your license with the Certificate received

Once you have received your Product Certificate from Alchemy Software, save it to your computer.
For example save to your Desktop or in C:\temp
 
 
> All programs > Alchemy Catalyst X.X > Activate Catalyst

Launch Catalyst and click Activate Purchased License

 

Select Step 2 and Browse to the product certificate file
 
Press Click Here to activate your Product License.
 
 
 
 

Congratulations, your activation is complete!

During the activation of your installation of Alchemy CATALYST the *.cert file is automatically deleted by the activation wizard as it can only be used for one product activation and becomes redundant.

  

 

Notes

  • If Catalyst was previously activated on the computer, or using a Translator/Lite free license.

    Delete previously issued license and certificate files

    Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the public directory below and delete all previously issued *.CERT and *.LIC files.

    C:\Users\Public\Alchemy Software\Catalyst x


  • If you are running Alchemy Catalyst in Demo mode and wish to activate, you can click on Activate in the HOME ribbon:
