Defining a Web Server |
You can define a Web Server to view dynamic web pages in Alchemy CATALYST.
This is useful if you’re localising server based scripts embedded in HTML documents such as JSP, ASP and PHP.
Select Tools->Options from the main menu. |

Select Web Servers from the list of options available on the screen. |
Select New using the mouse. Use the Web Server dialog to define the location of your Application and Internet servers so that you can view dynamically created HTML documents. |

Define a name for your site name. |
Root Folder |
Use this option to define the location of the root on your website.. |
HTTP Address |
Use this option to define the HTTP address or URL of your website. |
Application Server Root Folder |
Use this option to define the location of the root on your Application Server. |
Application Server HTTP Address |
Use this option to define the HTTP address or URL of your Application Server. |
Once your have defined the location of your Internet and Application Servers, click on the root of your Project TTK with the second mouse button and select Properties from the popup menu list. |
Select the name of your Web Server from the drop-down list at the bottom of this dialog and click OK to continue. To view a dynamic web page using your web server, click on the HTML document in your Project Navigator window and hit the F12 key. This will launch your default web browser and use your web server to render your dynamic web page. |
