Indexing Localized Text

You can quickly index your localized project by using the RoboHelp Smart Index Wizard. This tool allows you to assign keywords for each topic based on the topic content. The index is generated based on the language you select and any search criteria you set up in the Smart Index Wizard. Since the Smart Index Wizard suggests keywords based on topic content, you should only index topics that have already been translated into the different language.

To localize index text:

1. Launch Robohelp and open your RoboHelp project Your project is where you manage and organize all the files that are to be localised. file.

2. Select a target language for this project. This is important as the Target language will determine what noise list RoboHelp will use in automatically generating your index.

3. Follow the steps for automatically creating your index.
