Troubleshooting GoMobile |
If you experience difficulty using the GoMobile™ Licensing Technology, may we suggest you check the following items before you contact the Alchemy CATALYST technical support hotline. This list is generic as you may experience similar situations while borrowing or returning a license .
There are several probable causes for this error situation:-
An incorrect ComputerName has been specified. Ensure that the ComputerName is valid and exists in your network domain
The remote machine is not accessible across your Microsoft Network. This is caused by network connectivity problems and you should contact your Network Administrator to resolve this problem.
The GoMobile License Manager is not running on your remote computer. To resolve this problem launch Alchemy CATALYST 6.0 on your remote computer. Then exit the application and try to borrow the license again.
The GoMobile License Manager does not exist on your remote computer. To run the GoMobile License Manager, you must be running Alchemy CATALYST 6.0 SP1 or more on your remote and host machines.
There are several probable causes for this error situation:-
The GoMobile License Manager does not allow a license to be borrowed. To resolve this problem, please send a mail to info@alchemysoftware.ie and attaching your existing Product Certificate request a new Certificate that allows borrowing.
The requested borrow period is too long. The maximum borrow period is 14 days. To resolve this problem, specify a shorter borrow period and try to borrow the license again.
The license no the remote machine is already borrowed. To resolve this problem ensure that the borrowed license is returned to the remote machine and try to borrow the license again.
Alchemy CATALYST is currently running on your remote machine. You cannot borrow a license when Alchemy CATALYST is running on your remote machine. To resolve this problem, quit Alchemy CATALYST on your remote machine and try to borrow the license again.
The license on the remote machine has expired. You cannot borrow an already expired license. To resolve this problem, ensure that the license on the remote machine is current and fully activated. Then try to borrow the license again.
The GoMobile License Manager fails does not allow a license to be returned. To resolve this problem, first check that the remote computer is the machine the license was borrowed from and secondly, that the remote machine is accessible across your Microsoft network.

Due to delays in starting and stopping the GoMobile License Manager, borrowing or returning a license may not work immediately across your network. You may need to try each operation after a few seconds. |
