Scheduling Jobs and Tasks

Alchemy CATALYST provides a Scheduler that can run Alchemy Experts as background tasks on a desktop computer. This means that you can continue working within the Alchemy Project Environment while Experts, such as Analysis and Leverage, are running on your desktop PC.

The Scheduler processes Job Files which are created using the Create New Job Expert. You can specify a Job File when you launch an Alchemy Expert.

This Job File is dispatched to the Scheduler which breaks the Job down into individual tasks. These tasks are automatically scheduled and their progress tacked in the Scheduler Panel.
