Connection to an Idiom WorldServer TM

Use the WorldServer Connection dialog box to connect to an Idiom WorldServer Translation Memory. When this component is installed on your system, the Idiom connection icon will appear when your define a Translation Memory in the Alchemy Leverage dialog box or the Active Translation Memory tab within the Translator Toolbar.

There are two steps to follow when using an Idiom WorldServer TM:

Step 1: Connecting to an Idiom Server

When you click the Connect button, a session will be created with the Idiom Server and your logon details will be authenticated. Only then will you be able to select an available Translation Memory and specify the source and target languages.

Step 2: Select a WorldServer TM

You can now re-cycle the translated contents from an Idiom WorldServer TM using the Alchemy Leverage Expert of PowerTranslate toolbar.

	URL
	Use this option to specify the URL location of your Idiom Server. Contact your Network Administrator if you need more information about this location.
	Username
	Specify your logon username to access your Idiom Server.
	Password
	Type in your logon password to gain access to your Idiom Server.
	Connect
	Click this button to make a connection and validate your logon details.

	Translation Memory
	Select the name of the available Translation Memory from the drop down list. NOTE: You will only see the TMs that you have been granted access to. For more information on this, please refer to the Idiom WorldServer User Guide or contact your network administrator.
	Source Language
	Select the source language of your Translation Memory from the drop down list.
	Target Language
	Select the target language of your Translation Memory from the drop down list.
